Modern social media keeps users glued to their screens. The challenge was to build an app that uses screens merely as a catalyst to get people to put their phones down and meet in the real world.

Utilizing a highly optimized geospatial database, Connect.io matches users in real-time within a 500-meter radius who share niche overlapping interests, sending a 'Synchronicity Spark' notification.

Privacy First
Location data is never stored permanently. The architecture uses ephemeral geospatial caching that wipes coordinates the moment a user leaves a grid zone, ensuring absolute privacy.
UI/UX Paradigm
We abandoned the infinite scroll. The interface is card-based, limiting users to 5 potential matches per day to encourage meaningful interaction over superficial browsing.
